A little piece of Spring from a Styled Spring Shoot for the Spring Issue of Roco Magazine. Styling by Rachael Colton.

It’s not surprising that Shaun & Kathryn’s amazing home has made it to the front cover of the Spring Issue of Roco Magazine. Their contemporary home reflects their love for great architecture and design whilst cleverly retaining a cosy, lived in family feel.  I’d happily live here!

I have to admit that I have been ignoring my blog recently… & so I start the New Year with a warm, vibrant, eclectic home, which I enjoyed photographing recently for  Issue 3 of Roco Magazine .  This is the home & Masterpiece of Jane Mc Sherry who also makes a mean cup cake ( I was lucky enough to sample) for her business Calamity Cupcakes.  In fact Jane has her personality stamped all over this beautiful three storey Victorian Townhouse which successfully combines furniture from many different era’s in a quirky modern way which really works. Enjoy.  I did!

My day job now also includes photographing beautiful Irish Interiors for Roco Magazine, Ireland’s first exclusively online, quarterly interiors and lifestyle magazine. I love the variety that my job offers me.  Here is just one of the beautiful homes I had the opportunity to photograph for Issue 2.

Over the last few months I have been working alongside Rachael Colton, editor in chief of ROCO, taking photographs for her fabulous new online Irish Interiors & Lifestyle Magazine.   Rachael, a designer, who coincidentally was one of my brides a few years ago, is passionate about highlighting wonderful Design found in Ireland and further afield.

Whilst working on Issue 1 I have had the pleasure of photographing some of the most beautiful and interesting homes in Ireland.  This is a dangerous assignment when you are building a house like myself!!  We have had early mornings and I know Rachael has probably had a lot of late nights recently !!! Issue 1 is out now and I think you’ll agree it is amazing . It has been wonderful working with Rachael on the first issue and seeing her vision transpire.  Take a peek behind the scenes and have a read yourself.

I get excited seeing the Summer collections coming into the shops.  Around this time every year I treat myself to a new pair of shoes, normally wedges!!  This year was no exception, only this year they weren’t brown tan, more Southern Belle!!  I convince myself of my purchase as they will go well with blue jeans and my lovely forest green cords, they’ll also be good for a photo shoot.  The’d also go nicely with the pair of skinny red jeans which I haven’t purchased yet but might have to now that I have the shoes to match!!
