Alex | My First Birthday | Sneek Peek
Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to Alex. Happy Birthday to you!! Alex is One today!! He is the son of very proud parents Wendy & Stuart who were my bride and groom a couple of years ago. It is always lovely to be invited back when the babies start coming along and seeing this little family grow.
Fiona & Mark | Lough Eske | Co.Donegal
Fiona was just about to return to Australia when she met Mark in Belfast and that was that!! Mark worked in London and after weekends of flying back and forth Fiona and Mark soon realised that they were meant to be together and Fiona joined Mark in London. I really enjoyed my afternoon with Fiona & Mark at Lough Eske, where they will be hosting their wedding in September. They met me after their tasting menu at the hotel and a couple of bottles of wine later they were well ready for a walk around the beautiful grounds of the hotel. Funnily enough they were very relaxed and breezed through the shoot easily as you can tell from their beautiful photographs. Fiona is planning a sign board for her reception to incorporate a Portrait from their e-session.

You may remember Karen & Niall’s beautiful wedding at Lough Eske Castle, in Donegal featured on my blog back in September. Well here it is in print with lots of behind the scene info from Karen herself. I have to make a special comment on Karen’s gown from Willow Moon bridal boutique at the Linen Green, Dungannon and her amazing bridesmaids dresses specially designed by Karen and made by the very talented Una Rodden. A pleasure to photograph. Enjoy!

Arlene & Glenn | Castle Archdale | Co.Fermanagh
You can see I have been pretty busy recently, getting to know my brides & grooms before their weddings. Your Engagement Session is one of the most important elements of preparing for your wedding photography. Not only can you enjoy some beautiful images of yourselves before the big day but it’s also an opportunity to get to know me and to learn what to expect on the wedding day. Arlene & Glenn had already been in Rome last year and there was no sign of any engagement ring so Arlene was very surprised when Glenn popped the question back in November in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. I suggested flying back to Edinburgh for the official photographs but instead Arlene & Glenn decided to keep it local and we headed to the lovely Castle Archdale for some beautiful photographs. I think you’ll agree these are stunning photographs of a lovely couple in true Irish weather.

For all you beautiful brides to be, make sure you have a peek at this month’s featured wedding in GMNI Magazine for some inspirational ideas for your wedding. It could be you!! After ten years together, Claire and Brian finally exchanged vows in a big celebration with family and friends. Chic and charming, their wedding was a day to remember, from the debonair design of the wedding party and gorgeous bride, to all the memorable details, including cleverly arranged flowers, vintage invitations and pretty favour baskets for guests.

Ali & Ally | Harveys Point | Co.Donegal
I shot Ally’s friends wedding a few years back and now it is nearly his turn. The funny thing is that this time last year Alison & Alastair weren’t even going out!! Yes things have been moving pretty quickly with these two and they are getting married this Winter. The guys chose Harvey’s Point, in beautiful Lough Eske, for their engagement shoot, as this is where they got engaged last Halloween. This was the first time I had met Alison and I think her warm personality shines through as soon as you meet her. You will also see that there was a very quick outfit change along the way. Yes Alison is the first bride to have one set of clothes on under the other for the first half of the shoot… I love it!!
